Andrija Milić, born in Zagreb in 1965, started his professional career playing in various bands, wherein he collaborated with numerous outstanding musicians, such as Kruno Levačić, Tamara Obrovac, Mario Igrec, Saša Nestorović, Davor Križić, Goran Kačurov, Zdenka Kovačićek, Štefan Patkaj, Lorraine Callaghan, Patrick Collins and others. In 1998 he moved abroad, and performed as a singer and pianist in Ireland, the Netherlands and Austria.

Apart from authoring original songs, for which he writes both the lyrics and music, he also composes music for film. So far, he has composed music for the feature films “Safe House”, “The Living and the Dead” and “Number 55” directed by Kristijan Milić, and the documentaries “Half a Century of Disco” and “Major” directed by Zvonimir Rumboldt and Kristijan Milić respectively.

The Living and the Dead” won 8 Golden Arena awards at the Pula Film Festival in 2007, including the Golden Arena for best score. “Number 55” also won 8 Golden Arena awards. The upcoming film “Dead Fish Swim on Their Backs” is currently in postproduction.

Andrija Milić is currently teaching piano at the entertainment department of the Croatian musical society “Čarobna frula” in Zagreb.
